Mubadala World Tennis Championship is a men’s singles professional tennis tournament, played on outdoor hard courts in Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex with a 1st winner prize estimated at $250,000. The tournament has attracted in excess of 135,000 tennis fans over its last ten editions, and witnessed world-class tennis champions players with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Kevin Anderson, Venus Williams and Serena Williams.
The Brief
The organizers (Mubadala & Flash Entertainment) tasked Pulse as the selected digital partner with creating a high impact digital marketing campaign in the three-month run up to the event. Their objective is to support global online ticketing purchases and spread the awareness about the tournament The digital coverage was also coupled with PR & radio campaigns.
The Result
Pulse proceeded to develop a broad-reaching digital advertising strategy across multiple platforms including Google AdWords, Google Display Network, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn to reach a significant number of the target audience groups defined. We configured advanced conversion tracking analytics in place to measure and optimize the cost-per-conversion (CPV) for ticket sales, while providing detailed monthly reports to MWTC. The campaign achieved fantastic results of +26 million impressions across the digital advertising platforms. 264,000 website visits & over 5000 tickets sold online for the tournament.
