Founded in 2011 by IMG Entertainment, The Color Run was the world’s first COLOR 5K and COLOR DASH event. By creating a race that’s more about the memories you make than your mile-per-minute, the organizers make running accessible to everyone, no matter their experience level or ability. Every year, new attractions and added value are added to the event, making its popularity increase significantly over the years.
IMG Entertainment needed to localize its event digitally in different markets. The objective was to create a digital footprint, reaching the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. Moreover, IMG Entertainment wanted to create a lasting effect with participants and be accessible to everybody, the veterans as much as the beginners.
We developed a set of comprehensive and colorful websites, powered by a robust WordPress CMS, to regionally expand across local markets. Combined with a powerful & creative digital strategy, including social media, media buying, and email campaigns, to ensure the event's success. Our team of advertising specialists have overachieved the KPIs of 2018 by 120% and sold over 9,200 tickets in the 2019 campaign.
