Founded in 2009, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is a private research university in the city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The university is regarded as one of the top universities in the region and the 8th fastest-rising young university for its research efforts in 2019.
Affected by the global pandemic, the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology was looking for a solution to deliver the graduation ceremonies to friends and loved ones of graduates in their countries. They needed a reliable and secure solution to broadcast the commencement ceremony of 2020 live to nations around the world.
We developed a user-experience oriented and secure website to host a streaming platform in order to safely live broadcast the graduation of the class of 2020 graduates. We used a reliable & friendly yet powerful content managment Progress Sitefinity platform, allowing for future scalability. This streaming channel witnessed thousands of viewers from over 12 countries around the world
