Retaj Mecca is the largest residential project by the Saudi Ministry of Housing, with more than 4,500 properties. This luxurious neighborhood accommodates all tastes, offering a vast range of apartment units and villas. The project includes integrated services and facilities such as mosques, fully equipped hospitals, various sports complexes, schools, restaurants, and entertainment venues for all ages.
The Saudi Ministry of Housing was looking for a reliable and creative partner to steer the complete branding process, from naming to creating the website and online presence. The objective was to build a memorable brand in order to drive online engagements, traffic, and physical footfall for an upcoming real estate project near the holy city of Mecca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
With a thorough regional and historical landscape research, we searched for a brand name that would capture the spirit of the project. The inspiration from "Door to Mecca" drove us to further design an elegant and appropriate brand essence. Moreover, to complete the digitalization shift for Retaj Mecca, we built an elegant & highly-optimized website, powered by a reliable WordPress CMS. We integrated essential e-services for customers, such as a powerful and comprehensive asset management module and a payment gateway to allow customers to make online payments.
